Police Record Checks

The Seine River beginning spring thaw, 2022.

The Sainte-Anne Police Service offers Police Criminal Record Checks (PCRCs) and Police Vulnerable Sector Checks (PVSCs). PCRCs will verify the presence or lack of criminal convictions from the Canadian Police Information Centre and/or local databses, summary convictions (for five years, when identified) and findings of guilty under The Youth Criminal Justice Act within the applicable disclosure period.

For those requiring a check for a volunteer or paid position working with children or vulnerable persons, where the position is one of authority or trust, a PVSC, which confirms if an individual has been convicted of a sexual offence, may also be required.

Please note that police services do not provide Child or Adult Abuse Registry checks. For information on obtaining one of these checks, please visit the Province of Manitoba Abuse Registries page.
